(ALEMANIA) COMPARTIRÁ ESCENARIO CON ARTISTAS DE LA TALLA DE RADIOHEAD, NEIL YOUNG, CALVIN HARRIS Y LCD SOUNDSYSTEM Luego de un merecido descanso de 6 meses, tras la maternidad de su cantante Li Saumet, Bomba Estéreo vuelve a los escenarios pisando más fuerte que nunca, agotando entradas y ocupando posiciones privilegiadas en los festivales más prestigiosos del mundo MIAMI (15 de junio, 2016) – Hace unas semanas, la agrupación colombiana Bomba Estéreo, anunció su primer tour de 2016, con 12 presentaciones a lo largo y ancho de Europa, entre las cuales se destacan los de festivales como Roskilde (Dinamarca), Wireless (Londres), Cruïlla (Barcelona) y Melt! (Alemania). En estas tarimas, los colombianos estarán alternando con algunos de los grandes nombres de la música mundial, como Radiohead, Neil Young, Calvin Harris; Disclosure y LCD Soundsystem, entre muchos otros grandes. Para despedirse de su público antes de embarcarse a Europa, Bomba Estéreo anunció recientemente un concierto íntimo en Bogotá para sus fans más cercanos. Tras el anuncio del primer concierto, cuya boletería se agotó en menos de 48 horas, la agrupación anunció por medio de sus redes sociales la apertura de una segunda fecha, que también se agotó en menos de 48 horas. Ya con dos shows llenos, Bomba Estéreo anunció un tercer concierto seguido, con boletería disponible a la venta desde pasado viernes y también agotó boletería en solo 72 horas, reiterando el excelente momento de la banda y el prestigio del que goza tanto a nivel internacional como nacional, pues ningún otro grupo nacional de música alternativa ha logrado, en tan poco tiempo, agotar entradas tres días seguidos en una misma ciudad. A un año de haber lanzado su más reciente trabajo discográfico Amanecer fue merecedor del Disco de Oro en Colombia por sus exitosas ventas, y la banda ha sido merecedora de dos nominaciones a los premios Latin GRAMMY® 2015, en donde presentaron en vivo su éxito «Fiesta» junto a la estrella de Hollywood, Will Smith, quien volvió a la música luego de 10 años de ausencia, atraído por el sonido único del grupo liderado por Li Saumet y Simón Mejía. Tras sorprender al mundo entero con esta presentación, en febrero pasado Bomba Estéreo fue también nominado a los GRAMMY® Awards en la categoría de “Mejor Álbum Latino Rock, Urbano o Alternativo” por su disco Amanecer, el cual se hizo presente en los listados de lo mejor de la música en 2015, por parte de medios de prestigio mundial como Rolling Stone (siendo el único álbum latino en el TOP 50), Billboard (los 25 mejores álbumes de 2015), Pitchfork y iTunes, entre otros. As a going-away party, Bomba Estéreo decided to put on an intimate concert in its home city of Bogotá for its most loyal fans. This show sold out in under 48 hours. The group took to social media to announce a second date, which also sold out in under 48 hours. A third date was added, with tickets going on sale last Friday. This sold out in 72 hours, confirming thatBomba Estéreo is one of Colombia’s most beloved artists. It is the first Colombian alternative band to sell out a three-night engagement so swiftly. One year ago, Bomba Estéreo released its latest studio album Amanecer, whose sales earned it Gold certification in Colombia. The group, led by Li Saumet and Simón Mejía, also received two Latin GRAMMY® nominations last year, as they performed their hit «Fiesta» alongside the hip-hop and cinema icon Will Smith, who was inspired by this very song to return to music after a 10-year absence.
